Clwb nos (night club) owner, Llŷr has been granted a licence to run a cwrw a bwyd (beer and food) stall at the local carnival. Now he needs to ensure that Prosesiwn y Macrell (the Mackerel Procession) ends up at his stall, not at the Pen y Cei restaurant.
Llinos, who runs Bwyty Pen y Cei is worried to find that her tax disk is out of date. Danny, her partner, is asked to post the payment.
Myra and Llŷr have begun a relationship and Myra is eager for the two to live together. Llŷr, however, is still married to the unfaithful Dr Manon and hasn’t yet accepted that his marriage is over.
Does Catrin want to divorce Hywel? She is uncertain. Solicitor Rhydian Lloyd suggests that he should represent her. He, after all, has detailed knowledge of her husband’s family’s assets.
After attending a conference in Caerdydd (Cardiff) with Eirlys, the surgery manager, Dr John invites her for dinner – but she doesn’t want to rush into a relationship. At the conference both were impressed by Dr Steffan Jones.
Llinos is pregnant – but is Danny, her partner, really pleased?
Dr Steffan Jones is invited for interview at the surgery to fill the gap left by Dr Manon, who has decided to resign. Hywel is not pleased and calls for an emergency meeting.
