Where do you come from originally?
I come from Ynysybwl, near Pontypridd.
Where do you live now?
Now I live in Cardiff.
Do you have a family?
Yes, I live with the wife and children.
What’s your hobby?
Food – my hobby and my work! I like going out to eat.
What’s your favourite food?
I like food from India and China.
What’s your least favourite food?
I don’t like goat’s cheese.
Do you like sport?
Yes. I like watching rugby and playing golf.
What about holidays?
We like going abroad. I like skiing holidays too.
Did you like cooking when you were young?
Yes I did. I used to help Mum and Dad and my Gran too.
How did you become a chef?
I went to Cardiff College and then I worked in restaurants.
What have you done on S4C?
I was cooking on 'Bilidowcar' – a programme for children. Then I got my own programme – 'Dudley'. I’ve done programmes like 'Casa Dudley', 'Dudley – Pryd o Sêr', 'Dudley: O’r Gât i’r Plât' and 'Dudley ar Blât' too. Now I do 'Dudley ar Daith'.
Do you enjoy the television work?
Yes, very much. I like the cooking and also talking to lots of people.
