The National Eisteddfod of Wales is held every August and to coincide with this year's festival, a special S4C documentary will take a look at a younger generation of Welsh poets fast making a name for themselves on the Welsh literary scene.
Saith Bardd is a portrayal of Eurig Salisbury, Hywel Griffiths, Aneirin Karadog, Catrin Dafydd, Osian Rhys, Rhys Iorwerth and Iwan Rhys. These young poets are the best of friends, yet often compete against each other for some of Wales' top literary prizes.
Eurig, Hywel, Aneirin, Catrin and Iwan have won masses of prizes between them - including six Urdd National Eisteddfod Chairs, awarded for the best poem. New members include Osian Rhys and Rhys Iorwerth.
The friends are now too old to compete in the Urdd Eisteddfod, which is for people aged 25 and under, but they've started to make their mark in the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
"Hywel was the first to win one of the main competitions at the National Eisteddfod when he won the Crown prize in Cardiff last year," says Aneirin, who has worked as a reporter on S4C's weekday magazine programme Wedi 7 since 2006.
"I don't know who will be next. Eurig has come second in the Chair competition three times running - that must be some sort of record."
Aneirin will also be competing in the Talwrn, a competition for teams of poets, during Eisteddfod week. He'll be part of the Deheubarth team with Rhys, Iwan and Hywel. It will be another chance for these young poets to win experience and status.
