Wynebau Newydd: Y Cymro a'r Catwalk

A behind-the-scenes look at the preparations for London Fashion Week in the documentary Wynebau Newydd.

Designer Elliott Frieze, originally from Cardiff, is a former model. In 2008, Elliot and his business partner set up a new label, and in the programme we'll see them prepare for their first fashion show to launch the company.

During the programme, we'll follow Elliot and his colleagues during the weeks leading up to the ambitious show which is worth over £100,000. The documentary takes a realistic look at the sweat and toil behind the glossy exterior of the fashion world - from making the clothes to hiring the models.

The name of the company comes from Elliot's business partner, Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, whose father is the king of the Sharjah emirate in the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. Elliot explains, "It's hard to believe that Khalid and I have set up the Qasimi label and that we're going to go on the catwalk with three supermodels. It's an exciting feeling."

Erin O'Connor and Jade Parfitt are among the famous models taking part in Elliot and Khalid's show. But with one of Qasimi's top models pulling out at the last minute, will the two designers be able to find a replacement in time?
