Mother to Shona, 10, and Llyr, 4, Debs is very proud to be a contestant on Fferm Ffactor, even though she couldn't believe that Geraint, her partner, had nominated her in the first place!

As a child, Debs grew up in the village of Llandudoch but when the family moved to the surrounding countryside, Debs started taking an interest in farming by helping out on nearby farms.

After leaving school she attended Felin Fach Agricultural College, followed by Gelli Aur before going on to study for a National Diploma in Agriculture at Aberystwyth University. During her year out at college she worked on a 500-head dairy farm in Oxfordshire.

Over the years Debs has mainly worked on local farms as well as playing a key role on the family farm, Fron Las Isaf near Crymych. A few year ago she decided to set up her own dog clipping business called Paws and Claws to enable her to work from home. When she's not out on the farm, milking, rolling or harrowing, one of her passions is her horses and she tries to take part in cross country eventing and drag hunting as often as she can.

Not phased about competing against men, Debs would "like to show the men that women are capable of excelling in any activity!"
