Husband to Marian, 35 year old Iestyn is a self proclaimed workaholic.
With his own contracting business - I.T.Davies Ground Works and Plant Hire -Iestyn's mind is always ticking over, thinking of ways to make money. He had the opportunity to take over his home farm, Y Goppa, Trawsfynydd in 2003, and was proud to move with his family to the picturesque farm by Trawsfynydd lake.
When not away contracting, Iestyn loves being at home with his wife and three children who actively help out on the farm. They also enjoy going away together each year, giving Iestyn time to switch off from his busy working lifestyle.
He thinks that he and Marian work well as a team in running the farm, but he has no idea whether they'll be able to shine as a team on the show.
"I have a feeling the producers might make it difficult for us to work together on Fferm Ffactor," he says.
"But taking part in the show will be a once in a lifetime chance, and if I can manage to bring the title to North Wales for a first time, I'll be a very satisfied man," he added.
