Over the past 18 years, 35 year old Rhodri Evans from Parc, Y Bala has had a string of different jobs from construction engineer, lorry driver to even raising marquees. But when his father retired three years ago, Rhodri was happy to return to farming and he now runs the family farm at Tyddyn Du.

A keen performer, every year Rhodri directs a stage production with "Cymdeithas y Parc", and has even been known to appear on stage himself - once doing the Full Monty to raise money for his local rugby team!

With his rugby days now behind him, Rhodri now enjoys farming with the help of his 5 year old daughter Catrin, who loves helping out with the animals.

"I hope I'll be glad to be a contestant on Fferm Ffactor", says Rhodri, but he also admits to being very apprehensive about what lies ahead.

"I don't like to be too arrogant, because every time I appear to be confident, something always goes wrong!". Last year, his brother in law, Iwan Price from Cerrigydrudion was the runner up in the final.

"I just hope to do better than Iwan!" he says.
