What's your greenest habit?
Recycling waste, driving a diesel car, buying and eating local produce whenever possible.
Do you know what your carbon footprint is and does it worry you?
No, I don't know what it is and yes, I worry because I fly so much
How much do you recycle?
Glass, metal and plastic bottles.
How much do you re-use?
All the childrens' clothes, and once we've finished with them, they go to a charity shop.
What kind of lightbulbs do you have at home?
Energy-saving ones all through the house.
Do you compost?
No, but the dog eats all the food waste.
What was the last green thing you did?
I'm presently building a green, wood frame house, well-insulated with central heating under the floors.
Do you think we can all make a difference?
Yes, but Britain is small – we need to tell the whole world.
If the big floods came, what would you save – apart from your family?
Family heirlooms – photographs, old videotapes and a film of my parents' wedding.
