On a scale of 1-10, how green do you think you are?
7 ½
What's your greenest habit?
Recycling
Do you know what your carbon footprint is and does it worry you?
I fly quite a lot, and I probably don't walk instead of using the car as often as I could, but I try and take the greenest option whenever possible. Of course I worry – we all need to take responsibility for our impact on the environment.
How much do you recycle?
As much as possible.
How much do you re-use?
Everything I possibly can. Glass jars go to mine and my boyfriend's mothers for making pickles and chutneys. Clothes go to a charity shop or get passed on.
What kind of lightbulbs do you have at home?
Mostly energy-saving ones.
Do you compost?
No – I don't have a garden.
What was the last green thing you did?
Recycled loads of bottles after a very sociable weekend! Took the train to London instead of driving.
Do you think we can all make a difference?
Yes, of course – unless we all do something small, we'll never be able to make a difference.
If the big floods came, what would you save – apart from your boyfriend?
Old photos – sentimental, irreplaceable things.
