In Wales, you never have to go far to find the beauty of the coastline. Seascapes, beaches, mountains – and an astounding variety of wildlife above and under water. Iolo turns his attention to seals, dolphins, sea birds of all kinds and more.
We had to film this on a stony penninsula in the estuary. This meant we not only had to set up the hide in the dark before the birds came to roost on it, but we also had to be very aware of the tide coming in. On top of this, it also turned out to be one of the stormiest days of the year. John had to walk miles to get back from the penninsula as the tide had come in so much.
