In this programme, Iolo will be discovering how wildlife has thrived on agricultural land over the last 5,000 years. Birds, snakes, insects and mammals fly, slither and dance over and on the lowlands and form an essential part of Wales' ecology.
The obvious shots to go for were the 'mad March hare' boxing. I spent several early mornings trying to get this behaviour in various locations. We never did get the boxing but ended up with a really fun and interesting story about the hares in the crop fields.
