New series

Anglesey tenor Gwyn Hughes Jones will sing alongside his American wife, Stacey Wheeler, as the latest series of S4C's flagship entertainment series, Noson Lawen, returns.

Stacey, who is originally from Pennsylvania, has lived in Wales for over 5 years after her romance with Gwyn started when they were both starring in an opera in Chicago. Stacey has since learned to speak Welsh and this is the first time the two have performed together on television.

In the programme, to be broadcast on Saturday, 13 March, Gwyn and Stacey perform their version of 'Hywel a Blodwen'.

The two will also recall their first meeting, their romance and their successful careers in an interview with presenter Mari Lovgreen.

Other notable performers who will entertain in the first episode include 4 Girls 4 Harps, Mirain Haf, Nathan Williams, Eilir Jones as his alter ego Ffarmwr Ffowc, Côr Ieuenctid Môn and local singer Casi Wyn.
