Geraint Morgan from Penllergaer near Swansea embarks on an emotional journey as he tries to discover the cause of a family rift that happened over a century ago. In 1908 Llewelyn Davies, Geraint’s Grandfather’s brother, left the village of Myddfai forever and started a new life in America. But why did he leave Myddfai for America at the young age of 17? Was he forced to leave, or did he go of his own accord?
Geraint will discover why Llewelyn left for America, and Perthyn will reveal details of his life there, and of his special contribution to his new community.
Perthyn has one more surprise for Geraint that may make the family rift a thing of the past.
