The Travel Writing of T. Ifor Rees

After graduating in Welsh from the University of Wales Collage, Aberystwyth, T. Ifor Rees, of Rhydypennau, Ceredigion, joined the Foreign Office and started on an adventurous carrer that took him from Wales to Europe and then to South America for 25 years.

He wrote numerous travel books, including Sajama (1960) and Illimani (1964) which are featured on Pethe 23 March – you can watch the programme on Clic until April 26.
