Llŷn ac Eifionydd

Llŷn ac Eifionydd

John Roberts Williams chose to look at the culture of rural Wales through the eyes of a young evacuee. Freddie Grant was a black lad who was totally assimilated into Welsh society during the war years.

In the new film, we ask what that "heritage" means today to eight-year-old Natacha who has just moved to Porthmadog from Bangkok. What can she learn from Séverine and Salma who live in the area already? Séverine has moved from Réunion to Nantmor and Salma is a Bangladeshi raised in Abererch.
