S4C's Marketing Unit are responsible for promoting S4C on screen and off screen.
Promoting On Screen
This team is responsible for promoting S4C programmes on screen, mainly by producing programme 'promos'. It is also responsible for developing the channel's on screen identity in the form of a series of idents.
Promoting Off Screen
This team is responsible for promoting S4C's work off screen by implementing strategies and campaigns using varied media: press adverts, posters, local radio and competitions. They are also responsible for organising press launches when new series' start, S4C's public meetings and S4C's presence at national and international events.
The Marketing Unit and the Press Office manage S4C's 'brand' image by ensuring consistency in all marketing and S4C publications.
