Idea submission form

Welcome to the facility for submitting new ideas to S4C. Any producer, company or individual has the right to submit an idea to S4C. S4C does not operate a closed market or a policy of preferred suppliers.

The S4C Code of Practice ? Our Relationship with our Producers (clause 6.5) notes: Proposals submitted should be clear and the information contained in them should be factually correct. When proposals have been sent to more than one member of S4C?s staff this should be indicated. S4C would also appreciate being told when the same proposals have been submitted to other broadcasters as well. In general, proposals should be limited in the first instance to one or two pages noting key points such as the names of producers and directors.

Commissioning Editors will respond to proposals within 4 weeks. S4C recognises that it is valuable that proposers receive negative replies promptly, but in order to avoid delay it does not undertake to explain reasons for rejection within the same period.
