Invitation to Tender Golf Coverage 2008, 2009 and 2010

S4C have secured the right to broadcast highlights programmes from the European Tour, US PGA Tour.
S4C have also secured the right to broadcast nightly highlights programmes, as well as the Opening Ceremony from the 2010 Ryder Cup, which will be held at the Celtic Manor, Newport.
Producers are invited to tender for the contract to produce a package of highlights programmes which will respond to S4C’s aspirations and expectations. S4C welcome ideas for coverage that will reflect all the excitement surrounding golf in Wales and the world in an entertaining and appealing manner. You should take advantage of courses, locations and personalities from the sport in Wales in order to produce programmes which will appeal to a wide audience, including those who follow the sport as well as those who have yet to show an interest.
You will also be expected to reflect the excitement surrounding the preparations for the 2010 Ryder Cup competition.
