Mansel Jones appointed temporary Head of Press and Information

Mansel Jones has been appointed Head of Press and Information at S4C, covering maternity leave.
Mansel is a communications consultant with extensive experience of public relations.
He worked for ITV Cymru for 23 years and was the company’s Head of Press and Public Relations until February 2006. Prior to that he worked for British Steel (now Corus) as their press and public relations officer in Wales for eight years.
Mansel spent his early years as a journalist with the Western Mail and was the newspaper’s industrial correspondent in the early '70s.
Mansel has an MSc in Media Studies from Cardiff University.
