Presenters

On 5th May this year, the Wales Coast Path will be officially opened, and to coincide with this historic event, the new series of Bro on S4C will meet different characters who live and work on this coastal trail

Talented athlete Lowri Morgan will be joining Shân Cothi and Iolo Williams to present Bro: Llwybr yr Arfordir.

In the first programme on Tuesday, 3 April, Lowri will try snowboarding with trainer Bedwyr ap Gwyn at the top of the Great Orme in Llandudno.

Also in the first programme, Lowri's co-presnter Shân Cothi will experience the coastal path from the air following a chat with Maldwyn Williams at Caernarfon airport. Iolo Williams will meet Olive Corner who owns dog kennels in the Porthcawl area.

The programme also features Gwion Llŷr, a student at Aberystwyth University. He's interested in parkour, a means of moving efficiently from place to place using all kinds of physical tricks.

The five programmes in this new series come to a climax with a special edition on 7 May at 8.25pm on S4C. This will be filmed at different events organised by the Countryside Council for Wales on Saturday, May 5th at three different locations along the Wales Coast Path. Iolo Williams will be at Flint Castle; Shân Cothi will be on the promenade in Aberystwyth; and Lowri Morgan will experience the celebrations outside the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff. Events start at 11am at all three locations – and you are more than welcome to attend!
