Rhydian Roberts takes centre stage in a glittering showpiece concert broadcast exclusively on S4C.
The singer recorded the extravaganza, which was choreographed by Jerry Reeve, a member of The X Factor team, at Venue Cymru, Llandudno earlier this year in front of a sell-out audience.
Rhydian will Get the Party Started with performances of showstopper The Phantom of the Opera, a Welsh language version of chart-topping hit You Raise Me Up and his own interpretation of the late Ryan Davies' classic, 'Pan Fo'r Nos yn Hir'.
He will entertain viewers with a range of songs including hits from his eponymous album. Highlights include 'Does Neb a Ŵyr,' a Welsh language version of the What If hit song from his debut album, translated by prize-winning Welsh Poet, Tudur Dylan Jones.
Among Rhydian's guests on stage will be one of Wales' most talented singers, Elin Fflur and the Prince of Wales' official harpist, Claire Jones.
Rhydian, who shot to fame in The X Factor talent series in 2007 and who is originally from Sennybridge in the Brecon Beacons, says, "It was a great experience coming home to Wales and performing in front of a fantastic audience. It was absolutely amazing. It was a lot of fun and great to meet some of the fans afterwards.
"I love coming home to Wales to perform, but this time was extra special as this was the first time for me to perform in North Wales. I love the place," the singer adds.
Since recording the spectacular concert, Rhydian has started his nationwide tour, which continues until the end of July. Rhydian will also perform in front of the Prince of Wales and the Royal Family at Balmoral during the summer.
Rhydian says, "My life has changed so much since The X Factor - it's definitely a change for the better. I'm singing for a living and getting the opportunities to work alongside some of the biggest influences in the music industry."
Concert producer Emyr Afan from Avanti says, "This is a unique opportunity to see the incredibly talented Rhydian Roberts in his first-ever televised concert. The glittering showcase will keep fans entertained from start to finish."
After the concert, Rhydian fans can enjoy Rhydian, a documentary following the singer's whirlwind year since coming runner-up on The X Factor. The programme was first broadcast over Christmas.
