Wrexham fans were in for a bit of a shock when they arrived at The Racecourse for the match against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.

There was no place in the starting line up for new signing Anthony Barry - or so it would seem.

The truth was that Barry had decided at the last minute to sign for Fleetwood Town rather than honour his word and sign for Wrexham.

"I don't want anyone at this club who doesn't want to be here," said Saunders.

"There are plenty of players who are queueing up to play for us."
