Andy Unwin of Harlech has decided to follow this season's Welsh Cup competition from the Preliminary Round stage being played on 15 August, 2009, right through to the Final which is due to be played on 2 May, 2010.
"I found out that Barmouth & Dyffryn United, a team I follow occasionally and are situated all of eight miles from my home, were entering the Welsh Cup this year," explained Andy.
"This will be the first time this has happened since 1979-1980 were they suffered a 0-2 home defeat to Aber AC in the Qualifying Round.
"Having decided to follow Barmouth, I thought I may as well go the whole hog and follow them, or their conquerors, all the way to the final!"
Andy's trip started on Saturday 15 August at Wern Mynach where Barmouth & Dyffryn hosted Mid Wales League side, Dyffryn Banw.
Andy has also decided to raise money on his travels around the Principality for the Welsh football supporters charity Gôl!
You will be able to chart Andy's travels via Sgorio's interactive map and Andy will be writing a blog from each of the matches he attends.
But it doesn't end there, as Andy explains: "I have also decided to follow the eventual cup winners into the Europa Cup of 2010-11, so it could be that I will follow Aberystwyth to Azerbaijan, Carmarthen to Kazakstan or even Barmouth to Bosnia!"
