Which team do you support
Everton because that is who everybody in my family supports - it's hereditary, like some sort of disease!
Who was/is your footballing hero?
Jim Pearson. Yes, I know he's not the most famous player to wear the blue shirt, but as an Everton fan I'm quite used to plumping for the less obvious players.
Perason came to Goodison Park from St Johnstone sometime during the mid 1970s and I think the fact that he came from St Johnstone meant he was quite an exotic player in the mind of a young Evertonian from the Vale of Conwy!
Who did you want to be when playing football on the schoolyard?
Duncan Mackenzie - he was a footballing wizard. I honestly can't think of a better player - everybody else in school wanted to be Billy Bremner as my classmates at Ysgol Gynradd Betws y Coed were predominantly Leeds United fans.
What is your favourite footballing memory?
It has to be the day I scored a hat-trick for Betws y Coed against Machno. It was New Year's Day 1987 and despite the fact that we lost 3-5 it is my favourite footballing moment because I scored a hat-trick against the old enemy and to make it all the sweeter the game was in Penmachno!
Who is the best player you have seen?
I think I might surprise most people by choosing former West Ham player, Florin Raducioiu. The Romanian was a gifted player and probably doesn't get the credit he deserves because he made everything look so easy.
I suspect that his managers thought he was a lazy so-and-so because he never ran around much, he just pinged the perfect pass every now and then - a bit like Jan Molby.
Sgorio has been broadcasting Spanish football for 20 years, but who is the star player from that period?
This might be another choice that will surprise many of the readers, but I'm going to choose Juan Riquelme.
Although he failed to really make his mark at Barcelona, he was a key member of Villareal's team who finished second in La Liga last season. On the international stage his genius was obvious during the early stages of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, especially as Argentina ran riot against Serbia.
