John Toshack admitted Sweden deserved their victory over Wales in Wednesday night's friendly international.

Bolton striker, Johan Elmander, netted the only goal of the game with a cute volley a minute before the break at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea.

"We started brightly enough in the first 15 or 20 minutes," Toshack told Sgorio.

"But as the game wore on they got on top and I think they were well worth the win.

"And maybe it could have been a lot worse than the 1-0."
