Additional Information: Heston Blumenthal is David's favourite chef and his favourite recipe is tuna with black pepper, lemon and coriander with a puy lentil salsa.
David doesn't get a chance to eat out much but he remembers the food at Diwana Bhel Poori House in Euston and Cerveceria Catalan, Barcelona to be especially tasty.
David also enjoys diving and has a good memory which is put to use remembering jokes!

After some masterclasses the twelve had a bit of a shock - a challenge to create Sea bass with a salsa.
David was successful and a step closer to Tigh Dudley!
David CoyleProgramme Two
After some wine tasting with Arwel Owen from Gwinology it was time for the big challenge - cook their signiature dish.
David prepared Rack of Welsh lamb on potato and celeriac rosti with a cranberry and port jus with a medley of seasonal asparagus and carrot.
A perfect wine to accompany this dish would be a Cabernet Sauvignon from the New World, Australia would be perfect.

The challenge was to create a dish with ingredients within fifty miles from Kinsale.
Duck, champ or colcannon and a sauce of their own choice.
Under the watchful eyes of Carole Norman and Leona Robinson from the Crackpots restaurant in Kinsale David was succesfull and a step closer to the final.

The challenge was to create breakfast and David was paired with Miriam.
A full Irish breakfast and Peter Maypother from Blue Haven Hotel in Kinsale was pleased.
David and Miriam winning the challenge and an afternoon around Kinsale as a prize.

A trip to Woodcock smokery and a challenge back in the Tigh to create 3 plates of smoked food.
David was paired with Helen and created only two plates, so another task awaited!
Kevin Dundon was judging and the challenge was to create a soufflé David was succesful and he is a step closer to the final.
David CoyleProgramme Six
After a spicy dish the previous night David had to face the Tigh Dudley kitchen once more. The challenge starts out as a team challenge but as allways, Dudley and his tricks and the team challenge became an individual one.
The task was to create a spicy dish and David prepeared a Thai Monkfish dish.
David was unsuccesful and his journey in Tigh Dudley was over.Information
