Additional Information: Miriam works as the physiotherapist for Richmond rugby club.
She also enjoys sports such as cycling, skiing, swimming and scuba diving - as well as claiming to be a master of the less stressful activity - the power nap!
Red Thai Curry is her favourite dish and she is very fond of Jamie Oliver for his enthusiasm and encouragement in getting everyone involved in cooking.
She also admires the late Keith Floyd for his unrivalled talent of having a glass of wine whilst cooking each course and claims that no Sunday lunch could come close to her mums.
It was a close call on Miriam's favourite restaurant and standing proud on the podium are Skylon, South Bank, London; The Glasshouse, Kew, London and Plas Bodegroes.
Miriam also hopes to grow her own vegetables for the first time this year.

After some masterclasses the twelve had a bit of a shock - a challenge to create Sea bass with a salsa.
Miriam was successful and a step closer to Tigh Dudley!
Miriam WilliamsProgramme Two
After some wine tasting with Arwel Owen from Gwinology it was time for the big challenge - cook their signiature dish.
Miriam prepared Thai mackerel with noodles and vegetables.
A perfect wine to accompany this dish would be a Savignon blanc from the New World or a Vino Verde from Portugal

The challenge was to create a dish with ingredients within fifty miles from Kinsale.
Duck, champ or colcannon and a sauce of their own choice.
Under the watchful eyes of Carole Norman and Leona Robinson from the Crackpots restaurant in Kinsale Miriam was succesfull and a step closer to the final.

The challenge was to create breakfast and Miriam was paired with David.
David and Miriam winning the challenge and an afternoon around Kinsale as a prize.
Miriam WilliamsProgramme Five
A trip to Woodcock smokery and a challenge back in the Tigh to create 3 plates of smoked food.
Miriam was paired with Steph and created the best plates of the challenge, and Miriam is a step closer to the final.
Miriam WilliamsProgramme Six
After a spicy dish the previous night Miriam had to face the Tigh Dudley kitchen once more. The challenge starts out as a team challenge but as allways, Dudley and his tricks and the team challenge became an individual one.
The task was to create a spicy dish and Miriam prepared Thai monkfish wrapped in foil.
Miriam was succesful and again a step closer to the final!Facing Miriam one of the hardest challenges of the series - A dish from Taste! Miriam was succesfull and he is one of the three finalists!
Miriam WilliamsProgramme Seven
The grand final and Miriam prepared Thai scollops, Lamb with boxty potatoes and a red wine sauce and shortbread with balsamig strawberries as dessert.
Miriam's menu pleased the judges but unfortunatley she was not crowned Tigh Dudley champion 2009!
