Our second bungalow is as also pretty as a picture, built in the 1920s in Llanfair Caereinion. Home to Buddug Rees for half a century it really lives up to its name of Bryndedwydd ('Contented/ Blessed Hill').

Apparently bungalows 'breed more contentment' than any other type of dwelling according to a survey of 2,000 people by Halifax, so maybe we should all be banishing the stairs from our lives.
