With huge plate glass walls that make it feel like the forest enters the house, with natural materials on every surface, and every room opening onto a lake-view verandah or deck, it has a perfectly relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. And this is what bungalows are all about – they are leisurely buildings, the most laid back of homes.
