Dr Greg Stevenson lectures in Vernacular Architecture at the University of Wales, Lampeter, and runs a small business renovating historic and unique buildings, which are let for holidays.

Greg writes for Period House magazine and the Western Mail, and recently brought Dr Iorwerth Peate's classic 'The Welsh House' back into print with new additions.

He lives near Llangrannog in Ceredigion, and started learning Welsh back in 1997. Further information at www.gregstevenson.co.uk

Minti is a rare red-spot dalmatian, born just before the turn of the millennium to Greg's other dalmatian, Smotyn. Her unusual colouring meant that she was entirely white until 12 weeks old, and thus got the starring role in Walt Disney's film '102 Dalmatians', playing Oddball the spotless dalmatian pup.

She got to stay down at the studios and got the full star treatment, being chauffeured about the set and had her own trainer and spotted kennels etc.

She felt rightly at home with star Ioan Gruffydd who could speak to her in her native Welsh.

Today she lives with Greg and his partner near Llangrannog in Ceredigion where she loves to run free on the fine Ceredigion beaches.
