Why did you say it was great to see someone with an electric guitar when it just looked as if he was miming with it? Also that girl had a good voice but she murdered say a little prayer.
Atebodd Owen Powell: Yes Bruce he WAS miming! What I think I was applauding was the use of a guitar based song by the Big Leaves. As for Lucinda, I wouldn't agree that she "murdered" the song but possibly could have been better!

the show would have had a different outcome if it had gone to public vote at this level as it is down to personal preferences, mainly you 4 judges personal likes and dislikes, not always the right preference either!!anyway its a learning curve for all remembering how young some were, and considering the age difference the older contestants should have been leaps and bounds ahead of the 16 year olds but they were not!! there isn't a christina agulera in the show!! good luck to all been nice chattin with you!!
Atebodd Owen Powell: The wawffactor final on 11th Feb. does indeed have a public phone vote. A chance to show us judges where you think we went wrong! As for age.. Michael Jackson, Britney Spears etc. never used being young as an excuse for anything. Everyone is judged equally in the music business, regardless of age. Nice to chat to you too.

why did the majority of contestants of up to date english songs with fab backing tracks enhancing and masking performances and a minority had weak tinny backing tracks ??
Atebodd Owen Powell: Diane, The show's rules dictate that a balance of Welsh and English songs must be used. I wouldn't agree that the backing tracks were "tinny". Owen.

just watched programme and wondered why the programme was edited in such a way that only negative comments were shown about the contestants who were voted out when they appeared to be unjust and for contestants that remained who were worthy of negative comments none were made for example no one seemed to notice how out of tune some were
Atebodd Owen Powell: Diane, I agree that the programme sometimes shows the worst elements of contestants performances (and judges!) however you would need to ask the programme editor about it. Owen.
