"On the day of the semi-final the nerves had really kicked in. Only one of us was to be knocked out. I had a real challenge as I had to sing and jump out of a bed at the same time!

I also only had one chance to impress the judges so I just went for it and luckily I didn't fall on my backside! On hearing I had reached the final my emotions were all over the place.

On the one hand it was awful to see Emma Hickey leave, but on the other I came home that night thinking, "Wow, I'm in the final."

"I was really nervous in the semi-final but I loved the song I sang, 'Georgia On My Mind'. It was the hardest song I've performed vocally throughout the series but it certainly paid off!

I'm not quite sure how I can improve vocally but I'm looking forward to the opportunity of performing with a band and dancers on a live broadcast. I'm sure it will lift everyone's performance."
