Questionnaire - HUW CHISWELL
What’s the best thing about performing live in front of a big audience?
It always helps if one believes that the audience are enjoying themselves and to sing in tune for that matter.
Did you always want to be part of a band?
Always had the urge to write songs and there’s not much point to doing that unless they are heard so performing was a natural step.
Would you have ever taken part in anything similar to Wawffactor if you'd have had the chance when you were young?
The Eisteddfod tradition offers this kind of opportunity to every Welsh person to some extent who is interested in performing. I wasn’t a constant competitor in the Eisteddfods but the experience of performing on stage in front of a live audience and a tv audience is an invaluable experience to a young person.
Do you think it's a good way of making it in the pop world?
If an individual has a talent, the publicity available is sure to be something positive.
What have you done to embarrass yourself recently?
Nothing I’d admit to.
What makes you laugh?
Our children, Mari and Manon and their innocent humour.
What's your idea of a nightmare?
A dream, which incorporates our deepest fears!
What kind of things will you be looking out for them in Wawffactor 2005?
A unique voice, the ability to interpret and communicate the meaning of a song well.
