Capel Zoar

Today Capel Soar sits empty and sad. It seems to be trapped in a time-warp from a century ago, like so many other chapels in Wales, with lovely old linos, fancy plasterwork, box pews and cast iron columns.

Capel Soar opened in March 1842 at a cost of £2,300.

It will continue in the future as a communal meeting place for the Welsh speaking community of Merthyr as a community theatre.
