Regional information

Lledrod, or to give it its full name Llanfihangel-Llethr-y-Troed, is the halfway point between Aberystwyth and Tregaron. The annual autumn fair at Lledrod was one of the most important in mid-Ceredigion, dating as far back as the 1770s. Farmers there would sell their cattle before they were taken to Tregaron where the Drovers would take them on to the markets much further afield.
