Profile
I have enjoyed running since I was a youngster. In fact, Mam says I have been running for as long as I have been walking - around the farm, chasing the dog - it's odd to think that I still use the fields to train.
When I was eleven I joined a local running club and I have been competing since then.
I really enjoy the personal achievement that I get from running - there's nothing better than to win - it's an amazing feeling. The discipline I have to show is also something that keeps me motivated to run on the highest level.
By now I have had the honour to represent Wales on a number of occasions - on the athletics track and in Cross-Country events. It's a real honour and nothing gives me more pride than donning the red vest of Wales to run.
I have also represented GB on a few occasions, and this year I travelled with the team to the Junior European Championships in Serbia where I finished fourth, after a gruelling race, in the 10k meters.
Ambition
Having already got a taste for competing on a European level I am keen to experience more! The next step would be the Commonwealth games, and then the big one - London 2012.
I train with Kevin Evans who was responsible for taking Andres Jones to the Olympics in Sydney so he's got a lot of experience on the highest level. I'm determined to be at my peak in time for London, and if I could look back and say that I reached the games, well, I would be over the moon.
