Anni Llŷn Parri
Winner of the Solo 19-25 competition
Twenty one year old Anni Llŷn lives in the village of Sarn near Pwllheli on the Llŷn Peninsula. She attended Ysgol Pont y Gof primary school, Ysgol Botwnnog secondary school and Cardiff University where she graduated in Welsh this summer. She's now following a masters course in Welsh, with creative writing as a speciality. This is the first time she has competed for the Bryn Terfel Scholarship.
In her spare time, Anni enjoys reading, writing, and watching rugby. As a student based in Cardiff she follows the Blues and the Welsh rugby team, of course!
At the concert, she'll be performing an operatic solo by Mozart, an excerpt from the novel Hi yw fy Ffrind by Bethan Gwanas, a classical solo composed by Dilys Wyn Edwards and a song from the musical Jekyll and Hyde.
